About RAL

RAL is a provincial infrastructure delivery state-owned company registered as a statutory body established under an Act of Parliament, the Limpopo Province Roads Agency Proprietary Limited and Provincial Roads Act 7 of 1998, as amended. RAL started operating in 1999/2000 financial year. Its main functions are planning, designing, construction, maintaining and controlling of the provincial road network. It owns and manages provincial roads infrastructure that fall within the provincial road network

Responsibilities
  • Assists collect and verify participants information i.e. ID copies. contract of employment for transmission to Department of Public Works and Infrastructure for project registration, participants registration on EPWRS system.
  • Assists in conducting quarterly EPWP audits to verify participants information.
  • Monitor and report training conducted for participants.
  • Quarterly EPWP reporting to Department of Public Works and infrastructure through Provincial Roads Coordinating Committee.
  • Validate & Keep all EPWP records i.e. payment registers, labour contracts. Labour ID copies for Monitoring and Evaluation Verification Audits and Internal audit purposes including AGSA.
  • EPWP project administration and target monitoring.
  • Assist Contractors to establish local SMME database in line with SMME activities and RAL terms of reference.
  • Assists in preparing SMME advert in line with contractor activities.
  • Assists in compiling SMME database.
  • SMME records (i.e. invoices and proof of payment and CIPC documents) for auditing purposes.
  • Attend meetings and Minutes taking.
Qualifications
  • National Diploma in Developmental Studies/Office Management/Public Administration or
  • Degree in Developmental Studies/Office Management/Public Administration
